My daughter's fifth birthday party!

Hello again! It's been a while but things were pretty hectic lately. Just after New Year's, I had to prepare an economic but delicious birthday party for my little fairy who turned 5. Whenever I have such occasions, I find that making lists helps. I always start with the guest list which in this case wasn't very long. Winter gatherings can't be too open. Then I make a list of the dishes I'm going to have which , to tell you the truth, changes quite a few times before it's finalised. Another helpful step is to make a drawing of the table with the platters .That helps me complete the blanks and present a full table. And then comes the fun part: shopping! with a list of course! My husband always makes fun of my lists but I'm telling you they really help!
So this year my final list looked like this:

Mini Hamburgers
Spinach pie
Chicken salad sandwiches
Cucumber with yoghurt dip
Little cheese pies
Small cocktail sausages with mustard and ketchup
Potato chips(after all, they're only children!)
And of course THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!

An easy yoghurt treat for a Friday evening's craving

Hello again and Happy Yummy New Year! It's been a relaxing holiday with the family and yesterday,as we were all sitting around the table playing Jenga, my elder daughter had a sudden craving for something sweet.Well, mostly she wanted to get into the kitchen and make something herself so I came up with an idea which proved absolutely delicious in only 5 minutes!I should note that my daughters are 8 and 5 years old so you can imagine how easy it was to prepare. Try it and you won't be disappointed!

Honey rolls

Welcome fellow bloggers and friends! This is my first try to create something on the web and I've decided to share with you and anyone interested in cooking as much as I am, my favorites. Just yesterday I made these honey rolls which is a traditional Christmas recipe my great Aunt taught me. She used to make tons of them on all kinds of occasions such as weddings, our babies' christenings, celebrations and so on.Of course I don't have the time to make them as often as she did but at least once a year I try to. They're great to offer as gifts because they're economical and most importantly delicious!
I hope you enjoy the recipe and I'm waiting for comments.
